Stay with us

Man's best friend

Your dog is welcome

All good dogs are welcome at Nymindegab Kro. Here is what you need to know before you book – and what awaits your dog when you arrive.

Yes, your dog can come

Your dog costs DKK 300 for the whole stay – not per night. Add it as an extra when you book, so we know you are bringing your four-legged friend.

DKK 300 for the stay

One dog per room. The price is the same however many nights you stay.

In the room

Your dog is welcome to stay alone in the room while you go down for dinner.

In the bar

Your dog can join you in the bar, and we are happy to serve your meal there.

Book a stay with your dog

Where can your dog go?

In the bar – yes please

Your dog is welcome in the bar, and we are happy to serve your food there. That way you don't have to eat separately – just let us know when you arrive.

In the restaurant – sorry, no

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. If you want to eat together, sit in the bar – same food, same kitchen.

The North Sea at Nymindegab

Your dog in the room

It can stay on its own

Your dog is welcome to stay in the room while you go down for dinner. With or without a crate, as you are used to at home.

But not on the furniture

Dogs may not lie on beds, sofas or chairs. Your dog needs its own place on the floor – a warm corner, away from draughts.

Beach walk by the North Sea

Out into West Jutland

The North Sea is just minutes away, with miles of beach to walk. The rules below apply along the entire Danish coast – not just here.

On the beach

1 April – 30 September: dogs must be on a lead.
1 October – 31 March: dogs may run free if you have full control of them.

In forests and plantations

Here your dog must always be on a lead – all year round.

The North Sea can be wild, with strong currents and high waves. Keep an eye on your dog if it jumps into the water – and rinse the salt and sand out of its coat afterwards.

The vet we recommend

Vestjyske Dyrlæger

Erhvervsparken 2, 6830 Nørre Nebel

The clinic is open weekdays 7:00–17:00. For emergencies you can call around the clock – even when the clinic is closed. If you are staying at the inn, you are always welcome to come to reception and we will help you call and find the way.

Come and get sand between your paws

Remember to add your dog when you book. If you're unsure about anything, give us a call – we're happy to answer everything, including questions about the four-legged guests.
