Nymindegab Kro looks after your personal data. Here you can read which data we collect, what we use it for and how we protect it when you visit our website or stay with us.

• Booking details: arrival and departure dates, choice of room and any special requests
• Payment details: your payment is handled by Nets. We do not store your card details
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device, collected through cookies

• process and confirm your booking
• write to you about your stay
• deliver what you have booked
• send newsletters if you have agreed to receive them
• improve our website and our service
• comply with the law

We process your data on the following basis:

• Our agreement with you: to carry out your booking
• Your consent: for example when you sign up for the newsletter
• Our legitimate interest: to improve our website and service
• Legal obligations: including the Danish Bookkeeping Act

We only share your data when it is needed to deliver what you have booked:

• Nets, who handle payments
• ActiveCampaign, who send our newsletter
• Google, who provide statistics about the use of our website
• Our IT suppliers, who host the website and our systems
• Public authorities, when the law requires it

We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

We only keep your data for as long as it is needed:

• Booking details are kept for 5 years after your stay, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act
• Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe
• Cookies are deleted automatically after a period that varies from cookie to cookie

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you
• have incorrect or incomplete data corrected
• have your data deleted
• have the processing of your data restricted
• receive your data in a commonly used format
• object to our processing of your data

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to make the website work and to see how it is used. The statistics are collected through Google Tag Manager.
